nICOSIA TOWNHOUSE
CYPRUS
This project is a new build contemporary town house in Nicosia, designed as a composition of clean geometric volumes and calm architectural lines. The residence embraces a restrained design language, defined by textured monolithic surfaces and carefully balanced proportions.
The exterior is finished in hydraulic plaster, providing a seamless mineral surface that reinforces the building’s unified and solid character. Deep-set openings introduce natural shading and privacy, while adding architectural depth to the overall massing. The house opens directly onto a landscaped garden, where a linear pool extends the living areas outdoors and strengthens the relationship between interior and exterior spaces.
Internally, the design continues with travertine cross cut marble surfaces that introduce warmth and subtle variation throughout the space. The material palette is intentionally controlled, allowing proportion, texture, and spatial flow to define the architectural identity. Large openings maximize natural daylight and establish visual continuity with the garden, reinforcing a sense of openness while maintaining privacy.
The spatial planning responds to the local climate, prioritizing orientation, shading strategies, and natural ventilation to support comfortable year-round living. The result is a contemporary town house that combines architectural clarity with natural material expression, delivering a refined residential environment tailored to modern life in Nicosia.
