pAVILION AND GAZEBO ADDITION TO A COUNTRY VILLA
cyprus

This pavilion is composed as a sequence of carefully proportioned volumes articulated by sculptural chimney towers and strong horizontal lines. Mineral terracotta plaster reinforces its timeless presence while maintaining architectural precision and clarity.

A strong axial landscape organizes the grounds. A linear reflecting pool extends toward a delicate steel garden structure, establishing a formal spatial sequence framed by covered outdoor terraces and layered planting. The geometry is disciplined yet softened by Mediterranean vegetation, seasonal colour and controlled symmetry.

Openings are deliberately positioned to edit views across gardens and sky, reinforcing a continuous dialogue between built form and landscape. The covered terraces operate as transitional thresholds, mediating light, shadow and movement while extending the spatial experience outward.

Internally, classical proportions continue through refined detailing, panelled walls and coffered ceilings. A restrained palette of marble, natural stone and brass accents enhances the sense of permanence and calm.

The result is a pavilion that feels both monumental and intimate — rooted in place, yet confidently contemporary.
